Ring of honor: divided memorial for Oktavia Aigner-Rollett
to the right of the main building of the University of Graz (Universitätsplatz 3)
The inner diameter of the ring corresponds to the height of the doctor, who was the first woman to open a practice in Graz. One half of the memorial, created by Barbara Baur-Edlinger in 1997, was placed at each of Aigner-Rollet's places of activity: at the pre-clinic and at Paulustor, where the former general hospital was located. In the course of the demolition of the pre-clinic due to the construction site of the Graz Center of Physics, the half of the ring positioned there was moved next to the main building in 2023.
